The divine methods of education of God’s children
The church
is the place where God wants to change His people - Eff. 5:27. He knows our
nature, He knows our lives, He knows our life foundations, He knows our
weaknesses – He knows everything. That’s why God has established the church as
a place where we have to be changed and prepared to stand before Him without
spot and wrinkle and to do His work being here on Earth.
Our
understanding of purity and righteousness is too far of what God wants us to
be.
That’s why
He has established the church for people:
-To
get ability to be saved
-To
get the ability to grow in God’s truth
-To
get the ability to be changed for His labor
That’s why -
Hebr. 1:1 – God wants His people to hear His commandments and to be changed by
His truth.
2 Tim
3:16-17
Most of
Christians, thinking only that God is only about good, wrongly percept God’s
ways of education. They think that God will never do anything they will not
like.
But we have to understand – EDUCATION it’s a process that is
connected not with what we like or not, BUT with what is right or what is not.
Rev. 3:19
God’s
education will contain both: what we like and what we will not like, but both
of these is needed, bcsthat’s how God wants
us to be perfect in His eyes – Job 2:10.
If we reject
the idea of God’s ways of education, one day we can find ourselves casted out
from heavens: Matt. 7:21-23.
So, God’s education always has both
parts: blessing and discipline!
But God will never
discipline you if you are doing right.
So, how God
is going to educate us:
1)He
will teach us His doctrines – the right way of thinking about us and our lives.
2)Reproof
– when some of our life doctrines are wrong – He will speak to us different
ways to change that.
3)Correction
– He will need to change something the way we will be more open to listen (for
some people it could be even life problems).
4)After
we listened to His corrections – He will return to the level of doctrine to
change the foundations of our lives.
What do we need to do to be open for
God’s education?:
1)Do
not be stubborn
2)Be
more open to receive, then to argue or prove something
3)Keep
your conciseness open for conviction of the Holy Spirit
4)Keep
your heart open for conviction of God’s ministers – Ps. 141:5
5)Never
blame others in your faults – sometimes God’s will teach you on your own
mistakes – remember the story of Adam and Eve
6)Never
be offended – your offence changes nothing except closing your heart from God
and others.
