God has created us. He is our Father He is not just God, but first of that He is our Father that has created us, know us and wants to communicate with us. He has made us according to His image:

Gen. 1:26-28

He loves us and He wants us to be one with Him, to be like Him, to think like Him, to act like Him …

Without Him we have been lost in this world and that’s why we were living knowing about our Father and without knowing Him. We were like children who’s parents gave them birth, but grew up without parents.

And now, we have come to our Father and He wants us to know Him, but not about Him …

Acts 16:25

Paul and Silus were in jail. All of their surrounding were saying against them, but they were really excited, even thou they were in jail. Why could they do like this?

We need to know our Father personally – otherwise we live Christian life without it’s results – love, peace, happiness.

2 Peter 1:2-3

Why do we need to have personal relationship with God:

1)    Return us to our Creator and Father

2)    Release God’s nature within us

3)    Join us to the source of life, love and peace

4)    Gives us chance to build absolutely new life

5)    Gives us power to be over all life circumstances

What does it mean – personal relationship with God.  It is when you can say boldly, openly to everyone that you know your God and He knows you.

Personal relationship with God is to:

-         Know that He is always near to you

-         Know His greatness and majesty personally

-         Know and live by His love, care etc.

-         Know His plan for your life

-         Know His heart and everything that is in His heart

What is not personal relationship with God:

-         Excitement and curiosity about religious activities (I like the church or pastor)

-         Church services and relationship with other Christians (our faith shouldn’t base on our relationship with other people)

-         Knowledge about God, Christianity and traditions

-         Desire to throw away burden of life problems

-         Activities that we do for God

When you know Him personally and life when we know all about Him, are different – they have different styles and different results.

All that we want to get from God is hidden in Him – if you want to get it – you need to start seriously and intensively seek Him.

This is what God wants for all of us – to have these relationships with Him and live by them.

What to start with:

1)    Set up your daily time with God

2)    Keep this time whatever it requires from you

3)    Spending that time with your Father – do everything you do with your whole heart, soul and strength

4)    Every time penetrate God’s heart and bring out of there His desires, but not only something new about Him

5)    Build your day busyness around those relationship with God, but not adjust your relationship with God to your daily busyness

6)    Always spend your secret time with the Lord, imagining Him right in the front of you
