God has created a nation that will reflect His image and
greatness.
Any Nation has general characteristics:
-Language
-Values
-Mentality
-Culture traditions
-Faith
If we loose any of these characteristics – the nation stops
to be a nation or it will have to loose a generation that loose it, until new
generation with right characteristics will raise up.
Bible is saying that God had to destroy the whole generation
of Israel, except Haleb and Joshua, bcs they lost some of these
characteristics.
God is the same yesterday, today and forever more …
How today we loose these characteristics:
-Values – we exchange God’s values on people’s
values, but they are temporary, but not eternal
-Mentality – we are getting week, bcs we don’t want
to fight – the influence of commercial
-Faith – we change for more flexible, that will
meet our requirements of it.
Mentality of laziness – destroyer of this generation:
1)We
don’t want to pray through our weaknesses – let Holy Spirit presence change everything
2)We
don’t life to study the Word of God – let others explain it to me – others
explain – others have it – you don’t!!!
3)We
don’t want to fight for our future – may God’s grace work for us
4)We
don’t want to put our efforts to breakthrough in a prayer – Luke 22:44
That’s why we can’t overcome our
weaknesses, we can’t overcome our laziness – we becoming leaded generation.
There is biggest DANGER of this
statue – who are we going to follow – we can easily follow after those who will
propose the easiest way to get something – we becoming ANIMALS!!!
What to do:
1)Start
to work on your mentality – don’t look for what is easier to do, seek for what
is right to do
2)Make
God’s standards as your own standards
3)Take
examples from heroes of faith, but not from what you think about your life
4)Don’t
follow after what you like, but follow after what is right
5)Be
teachable and ready for changes onto better
How:
-Eager prayers
-Passionate praise
-Regular fasts
-Serve to the Lord, despite of your life
possibilities
Remember – ONLY EFFORTS CAN MAKE
REAL CHANGES, BUT NOT INTENSIONS!!!
